When I heard from my old good friend Barb who I used to work with ‘back in the day’ that her daughter was getting married, I was a)over-the-moon happy for her, b) yikes, last time I checked Betsy was still in highschool c) thrilled to bits to have been asked to photograph this most special occasion.
It was a joy to catch up and celebrate Betsy & Jeremy’s beautiful day.
Betsy’s flowers were stunning
Getting ready with the girls and mom.

Betsy’s dad’s first view of his daughter as a bride
Betsy added a photo of her Grandma to her bouquet, to stay near her heart

Before long it was time to get to the church and get married. Betsy’s brother sharing a giggle with their grandmother
Jeremy’s first look at his bride as she walks down the isle with her dad.

I love doing the famliy photos after the ceremony. It is a time to record a family’s history. What I also love are the moments inbetween the formal photos, the ones that just happen… like this one with Betsy & her dad
The skies were SO so so blue that day.. .had to grab one outside the church
Then off to do some of the new Mr. & Mrs.

The reception was held at the Oakville Harbour Banquet & Conference Centre
and no detail was left unnoticed.
And one last one of the newlyweds enjoying the reception.
Thank you again Betsy & Jeremy for having me to photograph your wedding day! Bless you guys in many many years of happiness!
Cheers!
